The Swiss Cheese plant, also known as Monstera adansonii, gets it name from its heart shaped leaves peppered with natural holes. It is an exotic-looking tropical plant originating from Central and South America.
The Swiss Cheese plant is a type of vine plant. As it grows longer, you can stick a stake in its pot and watch it climb up. You can also transfer it to a hanging basket or place it in a pot on a high shelf where its trailing vines can be elegantly displayed.
Care instructions: Keep the plant in indirect sunlight. Water it whenever the soil feels dry to the touch – soil should be damp (but not wet) at all times.
