Rattlesnake Calathea

The Rattlesnake Calathea (also known as Calathea Lancifolia) originates from Brazil and is a member of the Calathea family. It has striking bold leaves, resembling the patterns on a rattlesnake.  Its wild design makes for an exotic houseplant. Fun fact: it is also known as a ‘prayer plant’, as its leaves will move upwards during the night.

Care instructions: Place the Rattlesnake Calathea plant in indirect sunlight. Water it whenever the soil feels dry to the touch – soil should be damp (but not wet) at all times. Calatheas grow best in a naturally humid climate.
